Abstract
Geographical research is concerned with the spatial context of human behaviors. Yet a focus on space should not preclude a focus on time, as both dimensions infer each other. The development of life course approaches in social sciences provides a framework for analyzing the co-constituency of space and time through examining the collective significance of individual life histories. Life course has an analytical potential for geographical research, and geographers have studied the sequencing, synchronicity, and relationality of individual life course events with reference to research on migration, age, and transitions.
