Abstract

A retrospective service evaluation exploring physiotherapists' perspectives of a collaborative music-making programme (STROKESTRA®-Stoke) for people post stroke and their partner/carer was undertaken. The evaluation focused on the programme's benefits for physiotherapists and explored challenges they encountered when providing music-supported therapy. In addition, it explored the physiotherapists' opinions on aspects of the programme's organisation. Finally, based on their opinions, the value and functionality of the programme for clinicians and participants were evaluated.
