Abstract

This song is an output from a British Academy-funded Small Research Grant project called 'Stories into Song'. The song was composed, performed and recorded by Nick Bentley and James Peacock and uses a methodology developed during the project based on the adaptation of prose fiction text into a short-form pop/rock song. The source text is Kazuo Ishiguro's novel 'Never Let Me Go'.
