Abstract
Smoking is one of the well known risk factors for cardiovascular disease. The pathomechanism of myocardial infarction with nonobstructive coronary arteries (MINOCA) is diverse and not fully explained. However, “smoker’s paradox” is a controversial phenomenon in patients with myocardial infarction with better outcomes in smoking patients than in nonsmokers. The aim of this study was to evaluate the association between smoking and clinical outcomes in MINOCA patients.
