| Description | I proposed for and was awarded the funds to organise and host (at Keele) the STFC Introduction to Astronomy Summer School. We were awarded a modest grant (< £100 k) to fund this. I arranged external speakers and planned a full week's schedule of talks. The Summer School was attended by 90 postgraduate students in Astronomy from across the UK and was a great success. |
