Biography Victoria is an academic GP, working in clinical practice and at Keele University. Victoria completed the first Academic Foundation Year 2 rotation in the West Midlands Deanery in 2006-07 and went on to an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in General Practice from 2007-2011 where she completed an MPhil using qualitative methodology to explore the feasibility of extending the authority to certify sickness absence beyond the medical profession and obtained her Certificate of Completion of Training in General Practice.

Victoria was successfully awarded an NIHR Doctoral Research Fellowship in 2011-2017 for a quantitative research project which investigated the relationship between pain and falls in older people. Co-lead investigator for NIHR-funded studies including SPLaT-19 (Long Covid in Children and Young People), PINTO (Pain in the Oldest Old), BADGER (Advice and Guidance across the primary-secondary care interface). Co-investigator for various primary care research projects. Module lead for MMedSci Dissertation, PhD Supervisor, Deputy Director of the Centre for Musculoskeletal Health. NICE Indicator Advisory Committee standing member, various Stakeholder groups, recently Proactive Care Clinical Lead for Frimley ICB and Ageing Well Place Lead within Frimley ICB.
