Payam Amini
| Biography | I hold a PhD in Biostatistics with a research portfolio that includes over 120 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Cancer Informatics, BMC Neurology, and Scientific Reports. My work primarily involves the development and application of statistical methods, including Bayesian models, joint longitudinal analysis, and spatial and time-to-event frameworks—aimed at addressing complex challenges in health data. I have contributed as first author on several methodological studies and continue to explore ways to enhance the reliability and interpretability of statistical analyses in applied research. I currently hold a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Keele University (UK), having previously worked in academic roles at institutions in Iran. Alongside my research, I have delivered a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and regularly contribute as a peer reviewer for academic journals. I collaborate with research teams across both methodological and applied projects. |
